TESL Training

I'm beginning a course tomorrow for Teaching English as a Second Language. After doing some research, I opted to be certified through Oxford Seminars. It seemed that everywhere I looked in the realm of TESL had Oxford Seminars attached to it somehow.

The course goes from nine until 6 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday for the next three weekends in a row. For the grand I spent on the course, they better teach me something good.

One positive aspect of going with them is that they guarantee you job placement within six months after finishing the course. They say "pick a region or a country" and they'll try to get you a job in one of your top three choices.

We'll see how it goes.

Day one starts tomorrow.
